Destination Canada’s WeChat account ranks first this week with nearly 50,000 page views. Destination Canada’s article “You have a letter from the Norther Lights” showcasing images of the aurora borealis was the most read article with 17,290 page views. Tourism Authority of Thailand – Beijing office drops one position to this week’s second spot, followed by Brand USA, which received the highest amount of likes at 228.
Hong Kong Tourism Board, Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing and The Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership are the DMOs securing the top three positions on the ranking. With over 41,000 views, the Hong Kong Tourism Board’ s WeChat account has a similar readership size to that of NTOs. The article on Chinese New Year activities in Hong Kong alone generated nearly 20,000 page views.
