The most important things to know:
The Spring Festival falls between 10 and 17 February, 2024. The Chinese New Year’s Eve (9 February, 2024) is labeled as a working day on the official schedule. However, employers are encouraged to arrange paid leave for employees on that day. Adjusted working days are 4 February, 2024 (Sunday) and 18 February, 2024 (Sunday).
Qing Ming Festival falls on a Thursday (4 April, 2024) and extends to Saturday (6 April, 2024). Sunday (7 April, 2024) is an adjusted working day.
Labor Day (May Day) is a 5-day holiday, which is one of the peak time for travel during the year.
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls between 15 September, 2024 and 17 September, 2024, totaling to three rest days. 14 September, 2024 (Saturday) is an adjusted working day.
The National Day holiday totals to 7 rest days. Adjusted working days are 29 September, 2024 and 12 October, 2024.
