Chinese travel KOL Han Jiang shared his own experiences visiting the State of Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro is one of the most-visited cities in Brazil for Chinese tourists, with arrivals from China to Rio surpassing pre-pandemic figures already in 2024. Top city destinations for Chinese visitors include the famous Christ the Redeemer statue, Copacabana Beach, Sugarloaf Mountain, Rio de Janeiro Cathedral, and Seralón Steps. Outside of the city, the State of Rio de Janeiro offers plentiful options to visitors, including beaches, waterfalls, and gardens all within a few hours’ drive or less.
