Dragon Trail Launches Yas Island Tourism Expert Mini-Program

Dragon Trail has launched a new WeChat mini-program for Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. Designed for the Chinese travel trade, it offers extensive destination information, product routes, marketing resources, and cooperation opportunities.

Dragon Trail launched a new WeChat mini-program for Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island on 30 December 2025. The new Yas Island Tourism Expert mini-program is specifically designed for the Chinese travel trade, with convenient destination information, product routes, marketing resources, and cooperation opportunities. Through the mini-program, travel industry partners across China can systematically learn and gain in-depth understanding of Yas Island’s destination features, and access rich promotional materials and practical, effective sales tools in real time.

Yas Island in Abu Dhabi is a leisure island that combines coastal resorts, theme parks, motorsports, and shopping entertainment. The island boasts four major theme parks: Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, and Yas Waterworld, as well as the Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Marina, Yas Links Golf Course, and Yas Mall.

The Yas Island Tourism Expert mini-program comprises expert training, a resource library, and travel industry activities. It provides training and event information, while helping Chinese travel industry professionals improve their business capabilities in designing and selling Yas Island tourism products.

Highlights of the mini-program include:

• An expert training course, consisting of nine chapters, to introduce Yas Island’s tourism resources, including theme parks, hotels, transportation, catering, and entertainment. Starting from the needs of tourists, it helps operators explore Yas Island’s tourism resources, and understand how to create differentiated products and packages for different customer groups.

• The ready-to-use marketing section helps travel agents to efficiently plan and sell destination products, with a massive library of high-definition images and official videos, alongside written materials, brochures and maps. The resource library enables users to effectively design itineraries, secure ground handling services, and answer customer questions.

• Real-time information on Yas Island’s four major theme parks offers updated opening hours and other information, all in one place, making it easier to plan trips in advance.

• A travel industry activities section displays information on all official events. Travel industry partners can register and participate to gain more opportunities for professional training and industry networking.

The UAE’s largest emirate and home to its capital, Abu Dhabi is a growing hotspot for Chinese tourism. It was one of OTA Tongcheng’s top 10 outbound cities during the 2025 May Labor Day holiday, and reservations for Abu Dhabi on the Trip.com Group’s platforms during the 2025 October National Day holiday grew by an incredible 229% year on year. Yas Island’s Ferrari World in particular is one of the emirate’s biggest draws for Chinese visitors.
